1. Malaysia MH17 bodies arrive back home
The bodies and ashes of 20 Malaysians killed when Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 was shot down over Ukraine in July arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, the first repatriation of victims from the flight to the country. The victims were carried aboard a specially chartered Malaysian Airlines jet and received in a solemn ceremony.
2. Fed's Yellen to make speech on labor market
Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen will make a closely watched speech Friday in Jackson Hole, Wyo., to give her take on the health of the job market. The key clue related to rate hikes will likely be parsed from the words Yellen uses to describe the job market's health. If she stresses continued slack in the labor market, it will be a signal the Fed isn't in a rush to hike rates.
3. Sprint offers new family share plan
Take that, T-Mobile! Sprint is offering a new family share plan on Friday that can include up to 10 lines with 20 gigabytes of shared data and unlimited talk and text for $100 a month. Why is that good? Because it's $20 less per month than T-Mobile's current unlimited data plan. Not into the family plan? Sprint will also begin offering customers Friday an unlimited talk, text and data plan for $60 per month. Sprint's parent company SoftBank had sought a merger with T-Mobile, but the regulatory hurdles were too challenging. Let the competition continue.
4. 'Sin City' sequel opens in theaters
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is the long awaited sequel to 2005's Sin City. USA TODAY critic Claudia Puig says it's as hard-boiled, gory, garish and violent as the original. Bullets spray and blood splatters early and often. While visually stunning, Puig gives the film two out of four stars, writing that it aims for noir sensibility, but too frequently resorts to anachronistic scenes of Jessica Alba twerking.

5. His '90 murder rap tossed, man to be released
A former New York City businessman who has spent 24 years in prison after being convicted of setting a fire that killed his mentally ill daughter is scheduled to walk out of a maximum-security prison in Pennsylvania a free man.
Bonus: Trucks carrying Russian aid for eastern Ukraine have started moving toward the Russian-separatist-held city of Luhansk, Russia's foreign ministry said Friday.
